A thought-provoking, fully somatic listening experience. This series made me feel distinctly hopeful about the art of audio. Easily one of the best, most captivating podcast series I’d listened to in a long time. The content is heavy, with Prest diving deep into her personal experience with a mental health disorder. We hear the experience through her own ears, with audio and narration taking us into her mind and body.
As always, Prest’s style is intriguing and challenging. The series felt like a lovingly staged performance, a form Prest knows so well: real, raw, and perfectly imperfect. A good reminder that our people can be fragile sometimes and how our relationships are nonlinear, things to be cherished despite their flaws.
